Asia is the world's largest continent, home to 60%
of its people. With the rise in its prominence spurred by the rapid development
in the late 20th century and in recent years of the regional giants China and
India, the world is interested to know more about contemporary Asia. In this
regard,
Marshall
Cavendish Academic
is committed to its mission to bring the
newest developments in Asia, in the areas of humanities and social sciences, to
the world at large. Our publishing programme remains focused on this as is
evident from the growth in the number of titles in our various publishing
clusters like communications and media studies, politics, international
relations, regional security, ethnic studies, economics, gender and women
studies, philosophy and studies in religion.
Marshall Cavendish
Academic
is advised by over 60 scholars in various honorary
advisory committees drawn from around the world; we are honoured to have such a
distinguished panel of advisors to assist us in our important
mission.
