About the Book

Dr. Braack’s photographic survey, Fascinating Insects of Southeast Asia, is not only a valuable documentation, it is one of few of its kind: a comprehensive layman’s guide to the extraordinary range of insects that roam the jungle floors and skies of Southeast Asia. Vividly illustrated with more than 100 photographs of insect species native to Southeast Asia, Fascinating Insects of Southeast Asia takes you on a tour through the world of marauding ants, termite legions, swarming bees and beautiful beetles, while bringing to light the beneficial role of these mostly maligned and poorly understood creatures.
