About the Author
Allan is the man behind AllanBakes, a delightful cafe-cum-cake shop known among cake and pastry aficionados for its treats that are baked daily by Allan himself. Prior to starting AllanBakes, Allan was in corporate communications. Baking was a hobby and he would only bake in the weekends for his mum. After the passing of his mother however, Allan stopped baking. It was only at the persuasion of his close friends that Allan started heating up the oven again. He also began taking orders for his cakes which quickly grew to such a quantity that Allan decided to give up his lucrative corporate career to pursue his passion for baking full-time.
Since then, Allan has garnered numerous accolades for his baked goods, the most recent being Cheesecake Heavenly King for the innovative and irresistible selection of cheesecakes that he whips up daily.
Allan shares his recipes regularly on radio and conducts cooking classes at Sam.Leong@Forest Cooking School
