About the Authors

This book is written by Yasa Boga (meaning “food maker” in Indonesian), a group of three homemakers who are also career women.

Nies Kartohadiprojo has the talent and experience of transforming all kinds of recipes into delicious dishes with an appetizing appearance. Since her retirement from a popular women’s magazine, she now accepts special orders for parties and celebrations where her culinary prowess is evident.

Hayatinufus A.L. Tobing, a former Coordinator of Culinary Tests at a popular Indonesian women’s magazine, has spent twenty-five years in the culinary field. Her experiences range from teaching home economics in high schools and examining and creating new recipes to practicing this culinary art. Her experience and knowledge have contributed much to the high quality of this book.

Cherry Hadibroto, the founder of Yasa Boga, is responsible for the production quality of many cookbooks. An entrepreneur with years of experience at a women’s magazine, she understands what readers demand in a cookbook and how to go about putting successful cookbooks together.
