About the Book

The Spyros Incident, the Hotel New World Disaster, the Nicoll Highway Collapse and the Highjacking of SQ113 are among the shocking events featured in this book.

Instead of a dry recital of facts, readers are drawn into the heat of the action as fictional characters relive the action, pain and the anguish.

History comes alive as the gripping stories will have readers riveted as the events unfold. Join us and remember these tragedies, salute the heroes and discover the context in which they happen.

About the Author

Malcolm Oei was born and bred in Singapore, and spent several years living abroad in England, Indonesia and China. He was inspired to write from a very young age by his father. His old man used to pen long letters of advice on anything and everything about life; reading them opened his eyes to the power of the written word. Converted, Malcolm slowly started chipping away at the old block. Almost two decades on, Singapore’s Greatest Disasters! is Malcolm’s first book and he intends  to write many more; he’d love to build up more chips.
