A former correspondent with the BBC’s Asia Business Report and CNBC Asia, Ashwini was a journalist for many years. Ashwini’s first book, Batik Rain received critical acclaim. Lost at 15, Found at 50, published by Marshall Cavendish, is her second book. It was shortlisted for the prestigious Singapore Literature Prize (SLP) in 2020. Ashwini has a Master’s degree in Broadcast Journalism from the American University in Washington DC and lives in Singapore.
