Joe Cummings holds a master’s art history and has designed and built a house on Mexico’s Pacific coast. He is a prolific writer and has written or contributed to over 40 books on art, culture, design, food, language and travel. A full-time resident of Chiang Mai, he lives next to a 16th-century Lanna stupa.
