Little Mimic has some inkling that he has a superpower, except he doesn’t understand it. The young octopus uses his special abilities to blend in with different sea creatures, but none of these encounters satisfies his questions until unexpected danger comes along...

Join Little Mimic in this swimmingly fun tale of how a little octopus uncovers his superpower in the deep blue sea.

After Emily Lim-Leh was inflicted with a strange voice disorder in 1998, she tried to use her abilities to blend in with different crowds, just like Little Mimic did. But none of that satisfied her until she discovered her superpower – a little mustard seed of faith in God which has grown her voice as a writer and storyteller. Emily has since written over 35 children’s books and received several local and international book awards.

John Lim discovered his superpower when he picked up his drawing and colouring instruments. Illustrating children’s books has given John the special ability to express his creativity and ideas in deep and splashy ways. John finds art transforming for himself, and hopes that readers too can uncover their own superpower, just like Little Mimic. John has since worked on over 10 children’s books and his works have been featured in several events and exhibitions in Singapore.
