About the Author

Growing up in Singapore, Tan Yi Lin spent her weekends trawling the neighbourhood library and second-hand bookstores for tales of talking animals, globetrotting adventures, and travels to whimsical lands. She still does the same with her three daughters. Outside of her work in the public service, Yi Lin writes stories inspired by childhood and dabbles in ever-changing hobbies to feed her curiosity about what makes people happy. She recently learned that “multi-potentialite” is a term for people who don’t yet know what they want to be when they grow up.
