Play to your strengths when presenting: How to discover your talents, stay in your comfort zone, and give voice to your authentic self
ISBN 9789815218619
This book celebrates who you are. It is about recognizing that everyone is different. It is about listening to your concerns about getting on stage, speaking on camera, or even just networking at a business event. It is about offering well-honed tactics that fit in with the person you are, without telling you to become somebody you’re not. No matter what personality you have, you can communicate. You can present. You can present well.

Why do people still struggle with public speaking when there are many books and courses on the subject? There are two reasons for this:
- Most presentation skills coaches are – by definition – gregarious extroverts who love nothing more than to be on stage or on camera. Yet, people who need presentation skills coaching do so precisely because they are not gregarious extroverts. Trying to teach introverts to be extroverts is an effort in futility.
- Most presentation skills books are focused on tactics without taking presenters’ unique personalities into account. That’s like teaching right-handers to write with their left hand, and vice versa.
