He was a kind monkey who shared his juicy apples with a hungry crocodile. They became the best of friends, but can their friendship ever be?
Beloved children’s illustrator Danny Deeptown brings this classic tale to life with traditional pen and ink techniques. This unique story-colouring book features a fully coloured section for complete enjoyment of the story and a section with outlines for applying your own creativity to personalise the artwork.
Dr Ajay Kumar is a medical doctor based in Cambridge, UK. He made the Colorscape app as a home project for his daughter who was just a toddler at the time. They had many hours of fun using the app to create outlines from photos and images, then colouring them in.
Ajay also enjoys retelling classic folk tales that enthralled him as a child, and he created this book series to bring together his two passions — the Colorscape app and story-telling — to share these beloved stories with a new audience.
Obsessed with wildlife from a young age, Danny Deeptown found his love of drawing through hours of copying scientific illustrations from books of animals and dinosaurs. His artistic talent later led him to study Illustration in South Wales, UK. It was here that he found a love for classic book illustration and the use of pen and ink. Danny has illustrated numerous picture books and when he is not in his studio, he likes to spend his time adventuring and seeking out new places in nature.
